I mentioned in passing that my favorite ball cards to collect were current Athletics players. 3 months later when I revisited the shop, the owners had pulled every single current Athletics card they had in stock and set them aside for me. This saved me from having to look through thousands and thousands of cards to find my favorites. 10/10 would highly recommend. 1
